Multimedia training: text, podcast, insta-story or video: You will learn how to track down and research content. You will also practise how to prepare your content in a serious and appealing way for the various channels of our media company.
Diverse editorial teams: You will gain insights into our online editorial team, which includes a video team and an audio editor. You will also work in our local editorial offices in the Aachen city region, the Düren district and the Heinsberg district – for print and online, of course. You will learn layout in the print editorial department and writing at the city and culture magazine Klenkes.
External training stations: In addition to working in-house, you will also go through some exciting external theoretical and practical training stations that will broaden your horizons.

Willingness to learn and commitment: The most important thing is that you are interested in people, stories and the region. You are curious, motivated and want to master the basic concepts of regional journalism in practice and theory.
Studies and experience: Ideally, you will have completed a university degree and may have already worked as a freelancer in an editorial office.

Modern working conditions: We provide you with everything you need to work in our state-of-the-art open office on the Medienhaus campus. You can reach us thanks to good public transport connections. If you come by car, there is also free parking available.
